The
Client
Our Client, an active young lady with a very busy work
and family life has short, blonde hair which is always
thin and grows very slowly. She loves long hair but her
natural hair would never grow long enough in a reasonable
time and would always be too thin to achieve the look she
desires.
She has considered hair extensions but was unsure if they
were suitable for her thin hair and active lifestyle. At
this point she booked a FREE CONSULTATION.
The Consultation
The Client's hair is short and thin. She leads an active
life which could be unsuitable at times for hair
extensions which require a high degree of maintenance to
keep them in top condition.
Our challenge was to create a stunning new image for the
Client which is practical and manageable for her.

The
Recommendation
We opted for not One but TWO looks for her Client. The
natural hair was too thin and slow growing for a natural
long haired look and bonded hair extensions could weaken
or pull out the thin hair. The active lifestyle also
meant there were times when hair extensions were not a
practical option without extreme care.
We therefore selected clip in hair extensions in two
colours very close to the Client's natural hair colour.
These would blend with the natural colour while giving
some subtle tonal variation and character to the hair The
extensions could be fitted or removed to achieve two very
different looks depending on what the Client was doing
and how she wanted to look but with the colours so
similar there was no shock colour change between the two
looks. The extensions she used are real human hair so
they look and perform just like the Client's natural hair.

Fitting
and Wearing
We carefully distributed the extensions throughout the
Client's natural hair to achieve both length and volume.
When they were all in place she styled the whole hair to
make it blend in and to disguise the fact that extensions
had been used. Because each piece of extension hair had
been cut to style, We then numbered each piece and gave
the Client a plan showing where all the pieces fitted so
the style would be perfect each time she refitted them.
The Client now has hair extensions she could insert or
remove to suit the occasion or her mood.
The 4 photo's show our Client with and without her hair
extensions in place, clearly demonstrating the two looks.
Our Client is thrilled with her new, long hair and has
subsequently introduced two new Clients to us.
